AI / tech relative valuation desk

Public snapshot of trailing and forward PE versus each name's own history, plus PEG, growth, Street targets, and limited DCF reads for a general AI/tech universe. Not investment advice.

What this note is

A fixed, overwriteable public desk page for a general AI / tech universe. It compares trailing and forward PE to each ticker's own history, then layers PEG, growth, margins-related multiples, Street analyst targets, and partial third-party DCF. It is an informational comparison, not a portfolio, a blotter, or a ticket list.

Not investment advice. Do not place orders from this table. "Cheap" on a relative-PE band is an observation versus that name's own history, not a buy or sell signal. Low PEG is likewise an observation (often PE ÷ expected growth from a vendor feed), not a buy signal. Street targets and DCF fair values are third-party estimates, not recommendations.

Setup

  • As of: 2026-10-27 11:03 America/New_York
  • Universe: general AI / tech names only (44 tickers). ETFs and cash excluded. No portfolio holdings markers.
  • Trailing relative PE: versus each name's own ~5y / ~10y history (percentiles marked approximate where the band is sparse).
  • PEG: vendor PEG from yfinance / fundamentals_bundle (reference only; typically PE divided by an expected-growth figure — confirm growth denominator on each refresh). Null when the feed has no value.
  • Forward history bands: Forward 5y / 10y historical PE bands are N/A in this cut — we can show live forward PE, but not forward-vs-own-forward history yet.
  • Street target: mean analyst target as a coverage-wide value proxy (≠ any "Pro fair value" product).
  • FMP DCF: partial free-tier coverage only; often far below market for hyper-growers — model output for cross-check, not a standalone cheap/expensive call.

Watching

Names sitting toward the low end of their own trailing-5y PE history in this cut include: ADBE, GOOG, GOOGL, ORCL, NFLX, NVDA, AMZN, CRM (and peers in the table). Low relative PE can mean slowed growth, one-off earnings, sector rotation, or data lag — not a recommendation.

PEG cross-check (same cut): lower vendor PEG examples include MU (0.16), ON (0.17), NVDA (0.26), AVGO (0.32), NBIS (0.35), BE (0.44); higher include CRWD (6.65), SNOW (5.83), TSLA (3.80), AAPL (2.76), IBM (2.39), PANW (1.94). A low PEG next to a "cheap" relative-PE band is still not a ticket — growth assumptions can be stale or optimistic; a high PEG next to a "rich" band is a caution flag on multiples, not a sell instruction.

Relative PE + PEG snapshot

Percentiles are approximate versus each ticker's own history. PEG is vendor reference (not SEC).

What would change the note

  • Fresh post-close JSON from Portfolio Monitor / the AI-only feed (overwrite this fixed slug).
  • Forward PE history bands becoming available.
  • Clearer PEG denominator documentation (which growth series / horizon) from the feed notes.
  • Wider FMP DCF coverage, or dropping DCF when free-tier gaps dominate.

How it is filed

Fixed slug ai-relative-valuation (EN / zh-TW / zh-CN). Overwritten on each AI-only cut. Public page only — no holdings markers. Holdings-complete tables stay behind Profolio / Portfolio Monitor login.

Not investment advice. Sources for this cut: Portfolio Monitor pe-band and fundamentals batches (Finnhub); PEG / EV / FCF yield / analyst targets via yfinance (reference only, not SEC filings); partial DCF from FMP stable discounted-cash-flow (limited free-tier coverage). Investing.com Pro fair value was not used.
