SELF-DIRECTED PROJECT / LAB / CONTROL-PLANE PROTOTYPE
Reliable task orchestration, in isolation
A synthetic prototype exploring task contracts, duplicate prevention, worker leases and auditability.
SELF-DIRECTED PROJECT
LAB / CONTROL-PLANE PROTOTYPE
The problem
Distributed workers need clear answers to who owns a task, what happens after a retry and whether a stale worker may still act.
The approach
- Define versioned task, attempt, delivery and approval contracts.
- Use scoped idempotency, leases, heartbeats and fencing in a local ledger.
- Exercise validation and recovery with synthetic no-op tasks.
What was built
An isolated Phase 0 prototype. It has no broker integration and cannot execute real trades or production operations.
How this applies to your team
Demonstrates design techniques for reliable background work and controlled automation.
